Sue Martin (1939-      ) was born in Hull. She trained as an architect at the Architectural Association in London from 1957-1962. She has practised as an architect in both the UK and the USA for a number of years. During this time has also developed her own unique style of drawing and painting. She has exhibited in a number of mixed exhibtions over this time, including the Crane Kalman Gallery, Eastbourne Galleries and Gonville & Caius College gallery. She works in a variety of mixed media including oils, acrylic and gouache on board, and has developed her own style which combines an architectural perspective with a freedom of draughting and composition. She is the daughter of the architect Sir Leslie Martin, and lives in Cambridge.
